Thoughtful momentum
Move with purpose, keep the decision trail, and leave systems easier to understand.

We help founders and teams make equity understandable, useful, and connected to the work people do every day.
We are a practical, optimistic group focused on one complicated promise: helping more people participate in the value they create.
Our team works across six countries with backgrounds in company law, payroll, product design, engineering, and founder operations. That mix helps us translate a dense subject into decisions people can actually make.
From a first grant to an international tender offer, Trailhead Works keeps the map legible.
Marina and Joel met while helping a small hardware studio open offices on three continents. Every equity question required a new spreadsheet, a lawyer’s translation, and another week of uncertainty.
They built a shared model that linked ownership, agreements, and the milestones each person could understand.
Trailhead Works opened its first workspace in 2020 with nine early-stage teams.

Today we support companies from their first option plan through cross-border grants, liquidity events, and employee education.
We are comfortably remote, with small hubs in Melbourne, Lisbon, and Vancouver. Our customers span twenty-three countries and a wide range of company shapes.
The product now supports 1,680 active stakeholders across growing teams.
Move with purpose, keep the decision trail, and leave systems easier to understand.
Complexity is our material, never an excuse for making people feel lost.
Share context generously so people can act with agency and confidence.
Build ambitious things in ways that leave room for health, family, and a full life.
Ownership only matters when people have the time and clarity to use it well. That is why our culture is built around patient craft, sustainable pace, and a frank relationship with uncertainty.
We are a for-profit company, but growth is not our only measure. We look at whether customers can explain their plans, whether employees can make informed choices, and whether our own team can do meaningful work without sacrificing the rest of life.
Our policies—from flexible schedules to a twice-yearly trail week—are designed to keep those values practical.
