When you
keep to
a single
ritual

Tea is a pause you can hold. A reason to step out of the hour you are in and into one that moves slower, that steadies, clears and keeps.

The hours get
honest.

And at Mossgrove, that single ritual was always tea. That is why we walk the ridge roads, trade direct with hill growers, argue about water temperature, oxidation curves and wild ferments. We blend alongside herbalists, hand-fold every pouch and ship from the drying loft ourselves.

We will steep you a pot at the drying loft. Honestly, we will walk the fire road with you afterwards if you let us keep talking about withering times. The Mossgrove crew has gone further into leaf than any label we know of, hands stained green at every step. And now we would like to show you how.

We choose every lot slowly, weighing cup quality, harvest window, freight distance, the ground it grew on and how the pickers are paid. Stock moves by rail and sea wherever it can, packed in unbleached paper that composts in a season.

We build Mossgrove by putting soil, people and cup quality ahead of margin. That is the whole philosophy. Knowing what we know about the real cost of this trade, a company has no honest choice but to carry some of it.

Slow

Tea alone will not fix a single thing. It is a leaf in hot water. At Mossgrove, though, we think every pot should be worth sitting down for, because it might be the start of a better hour.

For
anyone

So however you make it; a hand-thrown gaiwan, a dented camp kettle, a strainer balanced over a mug, a pot picked up at a barn sale — the pause still works. Open a pouch and sit down with it. How we steep
