Our method

How Oyster Lane works

We pair deep diagnostics with clinicians who actually read them, then turn the findings into a plan you can follow for the next thirty years.

1.Spend a day with us

This is not an annual physical. It is the most complete evaluation available — 34 advanced diagnostics, finished between breakfast and dinner.

2.Read your results

Our physicians translate the raw data into a ranked risk profile, which you walk through one-to-one about three weeks after your visit.

3.Change the trajectory

Your plan continues remotely, with coaching on training and food, plus whichever follow-up tests your own risk profile calls for.

Testimonials

"The day itself was calm and unhurried. After a full round of imaging and a two-hour review with the clinic director, we left knowing exactly what to do next."

What we measure

The four engines of chronic disease

These four categories account for most preventable illness and early death — and nearly every one of them builds quietly for a decade.

Cardiovascular

Heart attacks and strokes still lead worldwide. Imaging finds arterial disease years before symptoms or a standard panel would.

Cancer

Most tumours grow silently for years. Deep diagnostics surface the risk while intervention still changes the outcome.

Metabolic drift

Metabolic health shapes everything downstream — insulin resistance, body composition, and the pace at which you age.

Neurodegeneration

Brain volume and small-vessel change appear long before memory does. We measure both, then track them year over year.

Our tests

of one person's health

No single test tells the story. We run imaging, bloodwork, cardiac and cognitive testing together, in one day, in one building.

DEXA CompositionBody fat, lean mass and bone density.
Coronary CT AngiographyAssesses blockages and cardiac risk.
Plaque CharacterisationFlags the high-risk plaque features.

I've been a member since the first Lisbon cohort and it is easily one of the load-bearing parts of my family's year. Preventive medicine is where healthcare is going and I'm glad this exists now rather than in a decade.

I learned more about my own body in one day here than in every appointment I've had before it.

I went through the Meridian assessment late last year. A genuine change of gear, not only for lifespan but for how the next twenty years will actually feel.

Last spring I booked a preventive MRI here, honestly out of curiosity more than worry.

Four days later I got a call about a shadow on the pancreas. It turned out to be malignant, and pancreatic cancer is one of the ones you do not usually catch in time. Because of the scan, mine was caught early.

With the clinic's help I got into surgery quickly at a hospital they referred me to. Today I'm two years clear. I'd trade a quarter of a pancreas any day of the week for the chance to watch my daughters grow up.

We keep the annual appointment the way other people keep a birthday. Genuinely life-altering as a service.

I went a year ago and learned three things about my own habits that I've since changed for good. Delighted to watch them scale this up.

Two years in now. It is a genuinely coherent way to monitor your health and to catch things long before they announce themselves.

Extremely well executed from booking to report, and one of the better investments I've made in anything.

Frequently asked questions

How is Oyster Lane different from a regular doctor or a concierge practice?

We don't replace your primary care physician. We complement ordinary healthcare by concentrating on advanced diagnostics and prevention. Your GP or concierge doctor manages your general health; we run the deep, data-heavy evaluation that finds risk before symptoms turn up.

After your day here, our medical team synthesises every result into one readable report that ranks your most significant risks and states plainly what to do about each of them.

You then review that report one-to-one with an Oyster Lane physician, so nothing arrives as a PDF you have to decode alone. You'll also meet a dietitian and an exercise physiologist for the practical side, and you can share the whole file with your own doctor so it folds into the care you already have.
